Saw this on my dash I again. Y’know, this is why I hate the Bones fandom. I’m a Booth stan and I hate when everyone acts like the only thing he cares about is Brennan. I hate when everything he says, people wonder how it relates to Brennan. I hate when I find Booth-scentric fic, it’s all about Booth talking about Brennan.

FUCK YOU FANDOM! Seeley Joseph Booth is more than just Brennan’s partner and love interest. He’s a father, he was a father way before Brennan was a mother. He’s a big brother, a soldier, a hockey fan, he likes socks, he has daddy issues, he has a flawed self image, he has a white knight syndrome, he’s Catholic and a bunch of other things. Why the fuck does Brennan’s brain accurate describe her myriad interests yet Booth only gets lots of Brennans, his kids and oh you remembered the Flyers, thank you very fucking much.

Booth is his own person, he is not there just to make Brennan grow as a person. I know some of this is the fault of the show because Brennan is the main protagonist and the first 3 years were mostly about her family drama but Booth has always had his own things and issues. I fucking hate it that people ignore that or make those issues only about Brennan. Fuck you fandom!

But this is from Season 7, isn’t it? Brennan would have been on his mind a lot in Season 7, because they finally became a family. I don’t think this is saying it’s all he’s ever thought about over the past 7 years.

I kinda agree with Mr. Cranky here. But before my followers have the urge to throw tomatoes in my face, let me explain myself… The first time I saw this, I didn’t like it. Yes, Seeley Booth is way more than Brennan’s partner. But hey, I REBLOGGED IT. I chose to take this (beautiful) montage lightly. This is nothing else than a fangirl fangirling about her OTP. This is Tumblr, buddy. Fangirls are everywhere if you didn’t alreay notice it. We live vicariously through their relationship. We all want our boyfriend to ONLY think about us. But of course, that can’t happen. This is why fanfiction exists. This is why (personal) blogs exist. Don’t like it, scroll past it. This is a Tumblr moto I recommend you to follow. There’s already way too much hate that rises in our fandom, so if we start attacking each other…
